    This is the debut single by Ana and Luis and is a limited edition 7" release, put out on Spanish based indie-pop label Meritorio Records.

    The group features Ana Gonzalez (Bobkat 65) and Luis Navarro (Detritus X) who with a shared love of 60s Pop and Country Folk taking influence from The Beach Boys, The Beatles, Gene Clark, Emmylou Harris as well as English Folk acts such as Sandy Denny and Fairport Convention have joined together to honour their love of this music to create a wonderful double-sided folk pop 45 release, with amazing songwriting and really great musicianship.

    The songs were recorded by Alberto de Mazo at Asturcon Studios (Perables, Asturias) and mixed and mastered by Jim Diamond. The backing band features Bobkat 65 rhythm section Paula and Diego (who also designed the sleeve).

    You can hear the wonderful How Many Times, across many forums including Soundcloud and all other major digital platforms.

    The 45 is released on November 1st 2019 and is a limited edition release.

    Todo un lujo anunciar que el 1 de noviembre publicaremos el single de debut de Ana & Luis, un vinilo de 7” con dos canciones alucinantes que me atraparon desde el primer día: “How Many Times” y “See What’s Coming”.

    Ana & Luis son Ana González (Bobkat'65) y Luis Navarro (Detritus X), un dúo de Gijón cuya música está influenciada por el country rock de Gene Clark y Emmylou Harris, el folk inglés de Fairport Convention y las melodías de The Beach Boys y The Beatles.

    Las canciones fueron grabadas por Alberto Del Mazo en Asturcon Studios (Perabales, Asturias), y mezcladas y masterizadas por Jim Diamond. El disco saldrá en vinilo e 7” a 45rpm, con arte y diseño de Diego S. y estará disponible el próximo 1 de noviembre.

    Desde hoy podéis escuchar la maravillosa “How Many Times” a través de soundcloud, y estará muy pronto disponible en las habituales plataformas digitales.
